The defensive coordinator for the Foresters football team, Jim Catanzaro, was quoted in a December 18 Wall Street Journal article about the changing dynamic of recruiting for college athletes.

President Stephen Schutt was quoted in a December 15 Chicago Tribune article about how colleges are assisting students financially during the economic slowdown.

Several international students were quoted in a Chicago Tribune story about how they have adopted the U.S. tradition of Thanksgiving while at college.

A.B. Dick Professor of Economics Robert Baade, a prominent national expert on the financial impact of professional teams, was quoted in a November 3 New York Times article on the development of new stadiums for New York's two baseball teams.

Katharine Seelye '71, a political reporter for The New York Times, has narrated a 13-minute video reviewing the events from the two-year-long presidential campaign that was featured on the newspaper's home Web page.

Director of Financial Aid Jerry Cebrzynski and Patrick Roe '09 were featured in a Lake County News-Sun article published October 28 about how the College is responding to requests for more financial aid.

After President Stephen Schutt signed on to the Amethyst Initiative to encourage debate about lowering the drinking age from 21 to 18, several news outlets, including the Associated Press, NBC5 Chicago, the Chicago Tribune, the Chicago Sun-Times, and ABC7 Chicago, produced stories that featured Schutt, students, and faculty on Aug. 19.
