Goals


Our main goal is to provide the college community with joys of mathematics. In order to achieve this goal, we organize various "math" related events such as our infamous modular bowling night. Additionally, we are solely responsible for having April declared National Mathematics Moth. We are quite pleased with the accomplishment and hope that someday someone outside of our chapter will recognize April as such.

Other things that we're responsible for are:
  1. Go bowling.
  2. To be the best gosh darn MAA chapter that we can be.
  3. Invite colloquium speakers
  4. Participate in the Putnam Competition
  5. To broaden the mathematical horizons of the students of Lake Forest College.
  6. To provide mathematical support to the local schools.
  7. And to go bowling.
