Instructions
- Hit the DRAW NEW GRAPH button to start a new problem with a new graph.
- Hit the NEXT APPROACH POINT button to go to the next approach point
without going to a new graph. (Approach points selected in this manner
are selected in random order.)
- Hit the CHOOSE APPROACH POINT button after selecting a point from
the pull down menu to select an approach point.
- Note that the NEXT APPROACH POINT button blanks out after you after
seen all four approach points.
- Click on 1, 2, 3, 4, "infinity", "- infinity",
or "does not exist" to select your choice to the
three limit questions (right-handed limit, left-handed limit, and two-sided
limit).
- Click on "Continuity", "Removable discontinuity", "Jump discontinuity",
"Infinite discontinuity",
or "Other discontinuity" to select your choice for the type of continuity
at the approach point.
- Note that a green outline appears around a correct choice, whereas an
incorrect choice fades out.
- You may keep selecting more choices.
- You can hit the RESCALE AXES button after selecting the domain
and range from the pull down menus to rescale the axes.
- You can hit the DEFAULT SCALE to return to the default scale.
- The RESCALE AXES button can also be used to refresh the graph.
- The CHOOSE APPROACH POINT button can also be used to refresh all
the choices.
