Concepts and techniques of Mathematics and Computer Science play a vital role in an ever-increasing number of human activities. The curriculum, research interests and other activities of the department reflect this fact.

We offer students the option to major or minor in Mathematics, as well as Computer Science. In addition to the campus computer facilities, students have access to departmental Macintosh and Windows-based PCs, which are fully-networked with internet access and a wide-range of software. The department's offices, classrooms and labs reside in Young Hall.
